Producer / Director / Editor

When Michele Baldwin, a 45-year-old mother of three, was diagnosed with late-stage cervical cancer, she paddleboarded over 700 miles down the River Ganga in India, breaking a world record and spreading awareness about the disease. When a six-minute version of her story was shown to women in a remote Himalayan village in Ladakh, it inspired them to visit a health clinic, where a precancerous lesion was found and removed from a woman named Nilza, saving her life. Winner of the Flickers’ International Humanitarian Award at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. Also inspired a Bulova special-edition timepiece partnership with the American Cancer Society.
